Hi, I’m Alex.
What draws me to weddings is everything that happens naturally - the anticipation, the movement, the laughter, the people and the little moments that appear when nobody is thinking about the camera.
My approach is quiet and observant. I want you and your guests to feel comfortable enough to forget I’m there, while I pay attention to everything happening around you.
Real moments first
I don’t create moments just to make a beautiful shot. I look for the beauty in what is already happening.
Throughout the day, I’m watching for both the obvious moments and the ones that are easy to miss - a look across the table, a hand reaching for yours, your friends laughing behind you, a quiet conversation or the reaction of someone you love.
Natural doesn’t mean accidental.
I work with composition, light, colour and movement to give every film a cinematic quality without changing what is naturally happening in front of me. I shoot handheld for much of the day because I like the movement and closeness it brings. It allows me to react quickly and keep the film feeling alive rather than overly controlled.
GUIDANCE WHEN IT HELPS. SPACE WHEN IT DOESN’T.
During your couple session, I’ll gently guide you when you need it, so you never feel unsure about what to do.
Once we have what we need, I step back and let you get back to your day
More than the main moments.
Of course I’ll document the ceremony, the speeches and the first dance. But I’m just as interested in everything happening around them.
Years from now, it may be a voice, a laugh, a look or a tiny moment in the background that brings the whole day rushing back.

I’m based in Ireland and happy to travel wherever the wedding takes me.
I love natural colour, movement and films that still feel relevant years later.
I’m constantly refining the way I shoot and edit - there is always something new to notice, learn or do better.
